We are a biology education research group housed within the Department of Biological Sciences at North Carolina State University. Our research broadly focuses on understanding and improving undergraduate biology education, with a specific interest in how instructors make decisions while supporting students' engagement in scientific practices. By translating our research findings into actionable strategies, we aim to empower educators and enhance the learning experiences of students in undergraduate science classrooms.
